Plantation Rum Cup

The first Bar Team competition in Australia & New Zealand open to EVERYONE in the hospitality industry – from the bartender to the chef or barback – any Bar Team excelling in creating delicious cocktails and memorable experiences for the guests.

The Grand Final will see one finalist from each territory to be flown and accommodated during Sydney Bar Week, from 04-06 September to compete. Each team will receive:

  • Flights & Accommodation to Sydney
  • Chance to attend events held at Sydney Bar Week

 

On Monday, 5th September, each team will compete against each other for the first major title of Plantation Rum’s kind and a journey to Barbados island!

THE 3 PHASES, RULES & GUIDELINES

PHASE 1

THE PLANTATION SIGNATURE COCKTAIL CAMPAIGN

During this phase, participating Bar Teams will feature & promote their Plantation signature cocktail for at least 6 weeks in their bar. Bar Team will showcase the cocktail in the bar and create social media content to generate excitement around their serve.

THE JUDGING

Each Bar Team will be judged on 5 key criteria. The 8 Finalists will be announced by midnight on 10th August 2022.

THE GRAND FINAL

The Grand Final will be hosted in Sydney during the Sydney Bar Week where the shortlisted Australian & New Zealand selected Bar Teams will compete to take home the Plantation Rum Cup & other amazing prizes.
